and you are the boss

Posted by jang at 9:22 PM
Yesterday - I was struggling big time to get up and go to work. so hard to get back to the working self when you had a long weekend (since Undas fell on a Monday, yey). But had no choice but to work my ass off. So I busied myself in the morning with the not-so-important chores such as cleaning my desk, filing/disposing files and checking mails. 45 minutes past the hour of 7, my boss went to me asking if i was able to do this and that. i was really caught off guard. damn! i totally forgot to do it. i checked my files. nada. omigod. so i said apologetically that it was overlooked. " Bakit di mo ginawa? Diba sabi ko gawin mo yan? 'Kala ko wala na tayong problema sa report na 'yon?" and the horrible questions were endless. aaaargh! i was really close to crying. kudos to my sensational acting prowess and i successfully held back my precious tears! haha (mind you my tears turn diamond when out of my eyes, i wish!). and yah, tears were stopped but i believe i stammered - damn that voice who broke my impressive acting!

Few minutes after the speech from my boss, i was again asked to go to her office for another pep talk. Now with the another boss. Thankfully this time, she was tamed - I guess. So, as i expected, everything later that day went well.

Not until, another officemate was called, criticized and scolded. He got himself three times of , sermon that day. Ahay. So this officemate and i, after figuring out that he too was scolded, we laughed everything off.

Just two hours before the office hours ended, another officemate (actually my seatmate) was never spared from the fuming boss. Ha ha ha (We're all in this together?) The "wrath" from the boss was again evident. Help! Worse thing was, this time, everyone could hear the "sermon". When the boss left the place, me and other victim friends journeyed to the food court. We certainly needed a breathing space and the FOOD (of course!). Food is all we need to extinguish the burning anger. Talk about pigging out! Lol. And because we were stuffed, we were no longer angry at the boss. Babaw. ha ha
